Visual Amazon Book Store – Zoomii

Really love this interface for viewing books. It almost feels like you’ve just entered waterstones and browsing the walls. Good work. I think changing standard consumer interfaces could really push forward digital online shopping as a whole.

A friend recently sent me a link to this. Really nice installation piece. The project is about space and time in both a 3D environment and transforming a space.  The project has inspired me to look further at 3D projections and how projections can be used as a form of expression not only in the standard environment we usually view them.

Only a concept. No doubt harder to use than expected, but an intresting concept all the same.

New shadow inputs for interactive devices using ‘pseudo-transparency: by overlaying an image of the user’s hands onto the screen, Microsoft has created the illusion of the mobile device itself being semitransparent.’
