Any thing by Aldus Huxley. &#039;Age of the spiritual machine&#039; is worth a read relative to our subject area (Ray Kurzweil). And in terms of work related stuff I wish I had read &#039;Designing for interaction: clever devices smart applications&#039; (Dan Safer) a long time ago.</description>
